They didn’t realize that the board wasn’t just a piece of wood—it was a cage. By messing with things they didn’t understand, they accidentally shattered a seal that had kept something dark locked away for a very long time. This isn’t your typical “ghost story” where things just go bump in the night. This entity is ancient, and it’s been waiting for a chance to get out. Now that it’s free, it has no intention of going back, and it’s started to weave itself into the fabric of their lives.
