Hello, I know it has been a while. Everything just kinda reached a point where no matter what I did every update I released all people ever did was complain. And no matter how hard I tried I would release a build only for people to complain about how I don’t update enough, or the updates are too small. And it got to the point that instead of looking forward to posting a new update I started dreading it. I know people complain from a place of love (most of the time) they like the game enough to complain about it. And at first I took it all in stride but it just became too much for me.
So I took a step back. It wasn’t meant to be long. But a week became two weeks, then a month then several months and now here we are in October. But I promise you I wasn’t being idle during that time.
I concluded that first and foremost I need to make something that I am proud of. Not worrying if other people are proud of it. Because if I am honestly proud of something it will show in my work and I can enjoy it regardless of praise or attention.
On that path I devoted myself primarily to coding. Renpy is great for how easy it is to make a simple game. But I never wanted to make a simple game. So I have been busting myself learning as much as I can, organizing things so they don’t get lost like they typically do. I had a friend tell me you have to code in a way that it can be handed off to someone else without you being able to explain things.
I think I am finally at the point where I have made something I am actually proud of. As such I am going to release it to all of you. I do want to hear your feedback both good and bad. What you liked and didn’t like. Hopefully this fixes some of the problems people had with my games, like spelling.
I won’t promise you that I will be as active as I once was. But I will have more updates soon. I have already started the coding revamp of MLS and DDoS. And I hope to have more content for both of them soon.
